Hook: While much Hawthorne drama is in the past, Grayson and Jameson still have challenges to overcome. For Jameson it’s when his father asks for a favor. His father asks him to join the selective club of London. There are games being orchestrated and secrets coming out- so how could Jameson say no?
For Grayson, his struggles come when his half-sisters need his help. He tries to go in, help them, and get out as quickly as possible. Everything gets more complicated for him when feelings and emotions get involved.
Overall Book Rating: 7.6/10
I would recommend this book
Review: Hmmmmm…. This was a good book. It just wasn’t as great as some of the other Inheritance Games books. The plot was interesting and exciting, but the book just overall felt a little unnecessary. I liked the aspects that were the same in previous books in the series. For example, I really liked the characters and writing. So much of the book just felt SO unnecessary and dragging. Overall, I think you can just skip this book and still enjoy the rest of the series, but it wasn’t bad.
Main Characters:
Avery Grambs- Avery is the main character in this book. She has one half sister (but she feels a whole lot more like a full sister to her), and is BRILLIANT. She’s also 18 years old.
Jameson Hawthorne- Jameson is one of the Hawthorne Brothers. He is 19. He is reckless and adventurous.
Grayson Hawthorne- Grayson is another Hawthorne Brother. He is 20. He is more reserved than Grayson and tends to try to be “perfect” to a fault.
Character Rating: 9.5/10
Setting:
This books takes place in two main locations: London, England and Phoenix, Arizona.
Setting Rating: 7.2/10
