Hook: Two best friends. One plane. A crash.

Not only are these two friends closer than anyone else they have met, they are both British spies. One was the pilot. She got away. The other, was captured by Gestapo. The escapee will do anything, including risking herself and others, to get the captured girl back. Meanwhile, the friend who was captured faces nothing but torture and eventual execution. Unless, she gives the Nazis exactly what they are looking for- information.

I would maybe recommend this book

Review: What in the world?? I TRULY have no idea. Okay, so for the first solid third of this book I was bored out of my mind. I was reading at such a SLOW pace and didn’t really care about the characters too much. But then, the book took a massive turn and all of a sudden……. I actually started getting super invested in this book!! I started to see how the different stories connected and was totally loving it!! Then, the book twisted AGAIN. Originally, I didn’t like this twist at all. But then it kinda made me feel more connected to this book (I might have even cried a little after reading it). In the end, when I think back to reading this book, overall I’ve decided that I do like Code Name Verity. However, I know I didn’t like a big portion of the beginning, so I can’t really give this too good of a rating. Anyways, I ended up liking this book more than I thought I would, so to me, that’s a good thing (but honestly, it still wasn’t great).
