Hook: Millie works at the Winchester house everyday. She cooks, cleans, and tries her best to please Nina Winchester. But, Nina seems impossible to please. Everything about her seems crazy. She mistreats Millie. She lies about her family. But then, why does she get to have the perfect husband? Millie sees him as such a nice, fun guy. So then, why would he stay with someone as awful as Nina? They seem to have everything, the perfect house, the perfect family, and all the money they could want. Why is it, then, that Mille has to eat her dinners up in her tiny room on the top floor. And why.....why does her door lock from the outside?

I would maybe recommend this book

Review: So this book went by really quickly for me. I read it in less than 24 hours. That’s not to say it was a great book though. The general plot was… interesting and I was never really enjoying myself while reading it. I certainly wasn’t bored, but saw areas for improvement. To give credit where credit is due however, near the ending was a massive PLOT TWIST that I totally didn’t expect. Other than that, when it comes to characters, I thought there was a lack of character development. So, overall it certainly wasn’t a waste and I was surprised with the plot twist, but I wish I could have felt more connected to Millie or for it to have had a slightly different plot type.
