Hook: Tonight is the theater’s last night. Jo and her coworkers are cleaning the floors for the last time before it’s closing. Then, the lights shut off. The doors are locked. And their phones are all locked in a safe. Then, Jo finds the dead body and it becomes clear this is no light hearted situation. She and her coworkers flee into the connected, rundown mall. But it isn't as easy as that. Doors are boarded up, and exits closed. All this time, she knows there is a killer in the dark and they won’t all make it out alive.

I would recommend this book
Review: Okay. Yeah. I guess I can kinda get behind this book. Maybe it’s just because I read this book right after an awful thriller, but I do kinda like this. It’s a good October, thriller, type of book. This book got going really quickly. I was worried it wouldn’t be interesting because it would just be murder after murder, but there were other aspects to it. The overall plot was good, it did keep me on the edge of my seat, but there was definitely room for improvement. I liked the main character, but she could be too cliche at times. I guess I liked the ending….I wasn’t upset about it at least…. it was just okay. So, yeah. I know this review is boring, but this book was very vanilla to me. Did I love this book? No. Do I regret reading this book? Also no. I don’t know, I guess I don’t have anything else to say about it. I guess I would recommend this, just not very strongly.
