Itâs been two months since the Fates were freed from a deck of cards, two months since Legend claimed the throne for his own, and two months since Tella discovered the boy she fell in love with doesnât really exist.
With lives, empires, and hearts hanging in the balance, Tella must decide if sheâs going to trust Legend or a former enemy. After uncovering a secret that upends her life, Scarlett will need to do the impossible. And Legend has a choice to make that will forever change and define him.
Caraval is over, but perhaps the greatest game of all has begun. There are no spectators this timeâonly those who will win, and those who will lose everything.

I would un-doubtably recommend this book
Review: WOW!! This book took me on such a FUN rollercoaster. I loved this book so much. It was FULL of Stephanie Garberâs signature details and descriptions. She ALWAYS describes everything so well, you really feel like you're there (I know people say that all the time, but in this case itâs actually true!!). The plot of this book had a TON of ups and downs, but in a way that made the book super interesting and kept me on the edge of my seat. I can be a SUPER emotional reader, and by the end of this, I couldnât stop crying, smiling, and laughing (I was actually reading part of this on the plane and Iâm pretty sure the people next to me thought I was a little crazy because I kept on NEEDING to laugh (and even cry a little) but I was trying so hard not too, because I was on the plane (It didnât work and I DID end up tearing up a little and laughing)). The characters in this book drew me in (as always) and I loved all of the variety of emotions they evoke. The setting was so fantastic, I loved it. đ As you all know, endings (in my opinion) can make or break a book for me because they leave you with a lasting impression about the book. This ending ABSOLUTELY made the book and wrapped up the series as a whole well. I think this was the perfect end of the Caraval series and it is now one of my favorite series Iâve read all year. (I know that there is still a Caraval novella (which Iâm SUPER excited to read next), but I still consider this book the end of the main series).
Main Characters:
Donatella Dragna- Tella is super independent and reckless. She is constantly making spur of the moment decisions and is super entertaining.
Scarlett Dragna- Scarlett is Tellaâs older sister. She is generally more cautious, but is also starting to come out of her shell more.
The Fallen Star- The Fallen Star is one of the Fates in this world. He is the un-official leader of the Fates and is not well liked.
